Specification of Canon - Powershot A1200

Announced in January 2011, the Canon PowerShot A1200 is a 12.1 Megapixel compact camera with a 4x optical zoom lens, 2.7” LCD screen, f/2.8 Aperture and 28 mm Wide Angle. For a compact camera, the A1200 has a small optical viewfinder, and it depends on 2 AA batteries for power. It has new features like Live View Control and Creative Filters, and it also shoots 720p @ 24fps HD video.

The Advanced Smart Auto mode allows you to shoot up to 32 different scenes in all situations. All you need to do is point and shoot, and the Smart Auto will adjust the exposure and focal settings accordingly to the available lighting conditions.

The PowerShot A1200 also features 6 artistic Creative Filters that work instantly with a simple twist of the mode dial of the camera. It can also capture really sharp photos even when the object you’re shooting is moving!

The Canon PowerShot A1200 is inexpensive while still offering very good features and photo and video quality.
